What a great day for a walk. Nice group of people, many with their Guide Dogs, Guide Dog Puppies in Training and their pet dogs. Walking down on the Angel Stadium field is a different perspective of where the game is played. By the time we were done, all of the dogs were worn out as were the people. Called for napping for the rest of the day. Join us for the next one in 2016!
Today was the 9th annual Orange County Vision Walk. GDB Puppy Raisers join other vision research supporters to walk around the inside and outside of Angel Stadium. The entire walk is about 3 miles done at a strolling pace as you visit with other raisers. It is fun to share stories and get to know other people who are passionate about GDB Puppy Raising. The topics range from “how many puppies have you raised” to “what did your puppy most recently destroy” to “relieving issues”. You would think we were in a Mommy and Me class 🙂
Hello past participants! Its time to hold that date….
WOW we’ve rounded the turn and are headed to #10 !!!!! Ten years ago I never imagined I would be sending out this email.
To date, your generosity to Tee Off for Dogs has enabled us to distribute over $300,000 in support of Guide Dogs for the Blind and The Foundation for Fighting Blindness.
We are proud to announce our 10th Annual Tee Off is partnered with Oak Creek Golf Club in Irvine California on Sunday, April 27, 2014. If you’ve never played the course, you are in for a treat. It is sure to be a spectacular day.
We are making several changes for this event. Our schedule will be a morning shotgun follow by an awards banquet lunch.
· 8:30 – 8:45am shotgun
· 1:30 lunch
For our friends who have supported me over the years we are extending a one-time “Thank You” price of $180.
I encourage you to take advantage of this now, as the price will increase to $200.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you in April.
