The BAARK Guide Dog Puppies in Training went for our outing to the Pumpkin Patch in Yorba Linda on October 27, 2015. Aiden is the Brindle, Rancher is a black lab sometimes wearing something funny on his head, Brian is the caramel colored lab with a green gentle leader, Rhubarb is our little girl yellow lab with the candy corn scarf and Buckley is our oldest puppy, black lab with the green gentle leader. In attendance were Aiden, Rancher, Brian, Rhubarb and Buckley. Career Change Mobley, Kelton and Natasha tagged along.
Natasha and Kent went back to Guide Dogs for Formal Training. Natasha will be looked at as a possible breeder. Good Luck Natasha. Kent will be going to the Oregon campus for guide work training. Good Luck Kent!
Aiden and Rancher are the new puppies in the BAARK club. They are adorable at just 8 weeks old. Aiden is a male Brindle Lab and Rancher is a male Black Lab.
Good Luck to Natasha and Kent!
Welcome to Aiden and Rancher!
We were planning to have our pot-luck at the park the next week and then realized that Natasha and Kent would be off to “college” by then and the new babies would be too young to join us.
So we changed the date and made it a going away party for Natasha and Kent. Natasha is return for breeder evaluation and Kent will go to the Oregon Campus provided he passes all of his medical tests.
Good Luck to both puppies – I know you will make us proud.
What a great day for a walk. Nice group of people, many with their Guide Dogs, Guide Dog Puppies in Training and their pet dogs. Walking down on the Angel Stadium field is a different perspective of where the game is played. By the time we were done, all of the dogs were worn out as were the people. Called for napping for the rest of the day. Join us for the next one in 2016!
We have only 3 puppies who are street ready – Natasha, Kent and Buckley. The Anaheim Packing House is a fun place to hang out and get a bite of food and a drink. There are so many restaurants there – too many choices for me. I’d have to try them all. Buckley took the bus there from Orange – easy trip. One bus all the way.
This year the Fun Day was heald in San Diego Seaside Village. What a beautiful day. Cool breeze and light sunshine. Thank you to all who put this location together – good job!!
This was also a time to meet puppy siblings who also attended. Buckley met his sisters Bella and Brianna. Kent met Kendall.
Margaret received her new puppy Rhubarb. Rhubarb will be started with another club and then join Margaret and Rod in a few months after she has had all of her shots. Very cute little girl.
I took pictures of all of my passengers on the bus for GDB San Diego Fun Day 4-25-15. The puppies and their raisers would enter the bus, choose a seat and help their puppy to go safely under the seat. If the bus is crowded and your puppy is in the middle of the aisle that is difficult for other people to get on the bus and keeps the paws and tails from being stepped on.
I won’t know the names of each puppy but you can tell who they if you can identify the legs of the human 🙂
